20000 devided by 52 devided by the number of hours a week you work = Hourly Wage
So for example 40 hours would be £9.62
Assume you work 40 hours a week mon to fri and get 4 weeks leave plus 8 days bank holiday then you actually work roughly 232 days a year
So if we do the maths that 20K/232 days = £86.21 a day, and working 8 hours a day = £10.78 an hour
Does that make sense

would be £385 per week approx.
so if its a standard 40 hr week its paying £9.63 per hour or so.
or if its a 5 day week, £77 a day
the uk average is now £457 per week but all the jobs in the papers I see are never more than about £290 per week
if you are earning 20,000 per year how much is that per week?
Well, that very much depends on how many hours you work per day.
Assuming 7.5 hours, 261 days/year that would be £10.22/hours
divide by the number of hours worked
If thats the top line ie before tax, then your gonna get around 384.615 a Week ,
Assuming your doing a bog standard 37 hr week,
Around £10.39
All before Tax of course, youll get far less than this :)
It depends how many hours you work...
This depends on many factors...
