I know that you get 1 point for every pound spent (except credit cards etc which are more...) but how much in pounds/pence is that point actually worth?
Not on Esso fuel.... in some places Tesco have come to an agreement with Esso and run small tesco stores in the filling station. However, the fuel sales are Esso and not Tesco and so you can't use the vouchers to pay for fuel at these places. In main Tesco stores then you can. But its a waste of vouchers - you can get 3 to one on lots of deals - I paid for a ferry crossing to Ireland this summer which would have cost £300 and did it with £100 worth of Tesco vouchers. Look at the clubcard website.

If you use the vouchers to pay for your shopping, then each point is worth 1p. However, if you use them for the deals then they are worth 4 times that, so each point is worth 4p.
They have no monetary value. You get 1 point for each pound you spend and these are then converted into money off vouchers which are sent to you quarterly. So for example, if you have spent £400, you will get £4 in vouchers.
